I scored a 10 pack of these a couple of months back
and pulled one out of the humi this morning. Over all construction was nice with
one vein running nearly the full length. It is a fairly large cigar (50 X 7.5)
after I toasted the end it burned nice all the way through with no maintenance
needed. This cigar gave off gobs of rich white smoke and had just a bit of a
peppery bite on the toungue. CI rates this as a medium to full bodied cigar but
in my opinion if falls closer to medium bodied. The ash did not hold as well as
I thout it would in fact in the first two inches I had ash in my lap twice. (I
felt like such a rookie). After the first two inches the ash held a lightle
tighter but you would not want to let it build up to much over 3/4 of an inch.
It had consistant taste down to the band but was not overly complex. You will
need to spend some time with this cigar. I sat on my deck with the sun shining
down on me reading and with a nice cup of strong coffee and it burned for 1 hour
and 20 min before I got motavated to get up and get somthing done. (well I moved
from the deck to the office anyway!) I would not pay retail for more of these
but if you can get them for a good price pick some up. They are not a bad smoke.
Time to cut the grass
