The look of the PG 15th Anniversary is highlighted by its reddish hue that it has from its Colorado wrapper. The stogie is rather toothy and there are some medium-sized veins all over its body. A relatively oily sheen is visible under light, and giving the cigar a feel discloses that it is packed well with tobacco. Close to the head of the cigar is a decorative band in red, white, and gold that shows the PG brand as well as the title of Gourmet Series. Beneath that band is a red one with the 15th Anniversary name in white cursive lettering. Right before lighting, the cigar has a sweet scent and a cold taste that mildly spicy.

Once lit, the burn of the 15th Anniversary is as perfect as I could expect. The draw is good and the burn is even from start to finish without the need for any touch-ups or re-lights. The ash that is produced is strong and light gray in color. Smoking time is about an hour and a half.

The flavors of the Paul Garmirian 15th Anniversary are powerful, yet the cigar maintains a certain velvety nature to it. From the beginning you get some light peppery flavors, as well as the sweetness noticed prior to lighting. A good amount of cedar notes hit the spot in the second third, and there is some earth evident as well. The pepper strengthens at this point to offer up a nice kick.  To stabilize everything out in the final third, there are also some delicious creamy flavors. As for strength, I 'd call the 15th Anniversary medium to full-bodied.

Although not out of this world, the 15th Anniversary from Paul Garmirian is a quality cigar.  It offered good construction and a nice mix of flavors.  I’d call this a good cigar to smoke during any time of the day.  It’s also appropriate for both beginners and experienced smokers.  At around $16 per single, the 15th Anniversary may be too highly priced for some.  It might be worth the try for a special occasion, though.  It also comes in packs of five and boxes of 25.

The Paul Garmirian 15th Anniversary Belicoso Extra earns a rating of 3.25 out of 4 stars.
