Moving on, the Punch Bareknuckle has a good amount of flavor and definitely delivers on its promise of strength. It starts with some bold pepper, and there's also a taste of wood. Half the distance through, earth and creaminess blend in with the bold pepper. The ultimate third deals up more earth, plus some cedar and coffee for a nice ending. The Bareknuckle is a full-bodied cigar all the way, but it didn't knock me over with its strength.

The Punch Bareknuckle is a very solid cigar for experienced smokers looking for something with a kick.  A single sells for around $4, which is not bad at all.  You are getting a quality cigar, so this seems to be a good value.  It comes packed in packs of five and boxes of 20 as well.  I’d pick one up if you are a Punch follower and are looking for something affordable in the full-bodied range.

The Punch Bareknuckle Elites earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.

Paul Garmirian 15th Anniversary Belicoso Extra

alt

The 15th Anniversary Belicoso Extra was released by Paul Garmirian in 2005, 15 years after the original Gourmet Series hit the market in 1990.  The Belicoso Extra was originally shipped to just 50 top PG authorized dealers at first, but it had such positive feedback that they eventually expanded production of the line to include a total of 10 different sizes.  According to the company’s website, the Belicoso Extra offers up a wide range of tastes for new smokers, while seasoned smokers should find it similar to the old style Cuban Puros that were produced in the 1950s.

The PG 15th Anniversary measures 6 3/4 x 52 in its Belicoso Extra vitola.  The 15th Anniversary is also offered in nine other sizes that range from the tiny 3 1/2 x 43 Bombones all the way up to the gargantuan 9 x 50 Celebration.  Its filler is composed of aged Dominican tobaccos.  The binder is also made of aged Dominican tobacco, and it is topped off with a Nicaraguan Colorado wrapper.  The 15th Anniversary is considered to be a full-bodied, yet smooth cigar.
