For such a thin stick, the Punch Deluxe Royal Coronation Maduro has a good amount of flavor. This is a nice surprise, as I was expecting something more one-dimensional. It begins with some spice, and there's also a taste of wood. Halfway through, nuts and creaminess kicks in. The cigar is very smooth and creamy. The final third offers up more spice and nuts, plus wood. The Royal Coronation Maduro seems to be more medium to full-bodied than full-bodied.
The Punch Deluxe Royal Coronation Maduro is a very solid cigar. A single sells for around $3 to $4. You are getting a quality cigar, so this seems to be a good value. It comes packed in quantities of 30 as well. I’d pick one up if you are a Punch follower and are looking for something affordable in the medium to full-bodied range.
The Punch Deluxe Royal Coronation Maduro earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2012

As you can probably tell by its name, the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2012 is a special release for this year. A follow-up to the Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2011, this cigar turns the tables by switching from a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper to one of the Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade variety. Actually, in 2011 the folks at Jaime Garcia packaged each box with mostly Connecticut Broadleaf cigars and one Connecticut Shade as a bonus. This year, it’s just the opposite, as the Connecticut Shade version gets to take center stage.
The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2012 comes in just one Toro format that measures 6 1/2 x 52. The cigar’s filler and binder both include Pelo de Oro tobaccos and are of the Nicaraguan Cuban Seed variety. As mentioned, an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper is the final piece of the puzzle. Jaime Garcia labels the Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2012 as a cigar that is medium-bodied in strength.
