Once in action, the Exile Wired Corona burns nicely. It stays even throughout, and touch-ups are not necessary. An occasional re-light or two is needed towards the end, but nothing too irritating in the maintenance department. The draw is good, and the cigar produces solid white ash.

The cigar's flavors are pleasant. It starts off with some rich coffee notes, as expected from its cold taste. Some nutty flavors are also apparent. The cigar gets a bit of a kick from some spicy pepper that wakes you up. There is also a good amount of sweetness that seems to come and go to help smooth things out. Medium-bodied does seem like the right description in this case.

Although the Exile Wired Corona was not the most inviting in its appearance, the cigar is a solid stick. The construction was good, and other than the re-light there were no real burn issues. As with the burn, the flavors were also good. The cigar was not too overbearing and switched between the different flavors to keep it from being monotonous. This is a smoke that should appeal to fans of milder cigars, and it is suitable for beginners too. If you like your cigars strong, you might want to pass on it. You can find the Exile Wired Corona in boxes of 24, and a single averages out to between $4 and $5 each. If you are looking for a good value and a cigar that you can smoke during any time of the day, you have one here.

For its value, the Berger and Argenti Exile Wired Corona earns a rating of 3.5 out of 4 stars.

E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2010 Delirios

The Short Run 2010 line from E.P. Carrillo is a newer release. In case you couldn't tell from its name, this is a limited production cigar. The concept behind the line is to release just a few batches of the specific blend each year. The 2010 edition's production is said to be capped at 108,000 cigars total, although the brand promises to release a newer 2011 Short Run next year as a follow-up.

The Short Run 2010 Delirios measures 5 7/8x 52. There is also a smaller 4 7/8x 50 Populares size available at this time, with a 6 1/4x 60 Dominantes version set to be released soon. The cigar's filler is a combination of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Its binder is Nicaraguan as well, and it is finished off by an Ecuadorian Sumatra Seed wrapper. The Short Run 2010 line is considered to fall into the medium to full-bodied category.
