The flavor department is where the H2 impresses the most. You won't find a ton of flavors here, but the ones that are present are worth the price of admission. The H2 begins with a strong spicy flavor similar to the one that was hinted in the cold taste. The spice gives way to some notes of leather, as well as some wood. The final flavor that appeared was of cedar, although spice seems to be the most dominant flavor of them all.

The Havana H2 is not a bad cigar at all. The uneven burn was a bit disappointing, but the cigar did have interesting flavors. It seemed to fall more towards the full-bodied end of the spectrum. That being said, it could be too strong for beginning smokers. Those who enjoy strong cigars should find it to cater to their needs. In terms of price, the H2 can be found for $4 to $5 per single, which is not too bad. At that price it's worth a shot to pick one up, and you can also find it in packs of five or boxes of 50.

The Camacho Havana H2 earns a score of 2.5 out of 4 stars.

Camacho Select Torpedo

camachoselect

The Select line from Camacho falls under the brand's ultra premium category of cigars. Julio Eiroa lends his hand in the creation of the line, and Camacho boldly claims that the Select is the “best Cameroon wrapped cigar ever.” That is quite the claim, but is it true, and is the Select Torpedo worth a spot in your humidor? Why don't we find out right now.......

The Camacho Select Torpedo measures 6 1/4x 54. The line also offers other sizes: the Lonsdale, Robusto, Super Robusto, and Churchill. The cigar features a filler and binder composed of Honduran tobacco. Topping things off is an African Cameroon wrapper. The Select is said to be somewhere between medium and full-bodied.

The Torpedo shape of the cigar gives it a unique appearance. The Cameroon wrapper is medium brown in color, and there is just a touch of oil visible on the surface. The cigar looks smooth overall, with a few small veins that are noticeable. An attractive band near the head displays the Camacho brand name and the Select label. Its red and black color scheme looks very good. Patting down the Select reveals that its firm to the touch. The cold taste is of tobacco, as is the scent before lighting.
