After striking it with a match, the Edge Lite Toro smokes beautifully. It burns evenly throughout and has a great draw. The ash produced is white and very long. The lighter can take a rest as no re-lighting or touch-ups are needed.
The flavors are not bad either, but nothing that will blow you away. Some cedar and earth is noticeable at first. A nice creamy taste also makes itself known. Just a bit of spice also comes into play, as does a nutty flavor. The flavors are pleasant but some may find them to be a bit bland overall. The cigar does fit its medium-bodied profile well.

When all is said and done, the Rocky Patel Edge Lite Toro is a solid smoke. The construction is excellent, as is the burn. The flavors may leave a bit to be desired, but they still remain enjoyable. A cup of coffee would complement this cigar well. Its milder demeanor makes it a good choice for those who are just venturing into the cigar world. Those that love strong cigars will likely want to abstain from the Edge Lite Toro. A single retails for around $6, which seems to be reasonable for a cigar with such great construction. It also comes in packs of five and boxes of 20.
The Rocky Patel Edge Lite Toro earns a rating of three out of four stars.
I hope you found these two reviews informative. Give both cigars a try, as they are quality smokes that are enjoyable. See you next time...
