The La Traviata is a cigar with a very inviting appearance. Its rich brown wrapper is very smooth and has just a few small veins visible throughout. An oily sheen is present that brings out the wrapper's nice color even more. The cigar is firm to the touch and appears to be well-packed. A classy band near the head adds a nice touch to the overall look. It displays the CAO brand name as well as that of the La Traviata line. A rich color scheme of gold, red, and yellow looks great against the dark wrapper. Before striking a match to it, the cigar gives off a barnyard scent, while its cold taste is reminiscent of earth.

The Radiante's apparently solid construction translates well when it is in action. The burn stays even throughout the cigar, and there is hardly any need for touch-ups. Re-lighting is also a non-issue. The draw is as good as it can be, and solid white ash is produced.
The flavors experienced while smoking the Radiante are excellent. It begins with a strong hit of spicy pepper that jolts the senses. It later transitions into leather and some notes of cedar. Wood makes an appearance and so does a really pleasant cream flavor. The combination of flavors seems just right, and it avoids from venturing into being too overpowering.
To put it in simple terms, the La Traviata Radiante is superb. The cigar looks great and really tempts you to light up in a hurry. The construction is impeccable, and is reflected in its burn that is free of any major irritating issues. The flavors are an excellent mix of bold and smooth, and they transition enough from one to another to keep things interesting. Those who enjoy medium to full-bodied smokes will definitely want to pick up one of these babies. Considering the quality of the Radiante, you might expect a high price tag. Actually, at around $5 to $6 per single, the Radiante is a great value. You can find it in boxes of 24 if you are looking to buy in quantity. Since it is not overwhelming in strength and is also affordably priced, this is one selection you may want to add to your frequent rotation.
The CAO La Traviata Radiante receives a high rating of 3.5 out of 4 stars.
