Thanks to its Oscuro wrapper, the Nine Robusto Oscuro has a very dark appearance that gives it a little of an intimidation factor. In fact, the wrapper almost gives off a marble effect. It is also very oily under the light. There are not a whole lot of veins visible, and the cigar feels firm to the touch. The bands that adorn its body are among the best I have seen, and the silver, black, and white color scheme really stands out. At the foot of the cigar is a band with the word “Nine” in very large letters. Near the head of the cigar is a large band with the Los Blancos name and logo. Just below that is a thin band with the Nine name once again. Before lighting it up, the cigar has a sweet cold taste that reminds me of chocolate. Its scent is that of earth.

When in action, the Nine burns decently. It tends to get uneven at times, but nothing too drastic. There is also the need for the occasional re-light. The draw is good, though, and the ash is a nice light color and is solid.
The flavors of the cigar are where it really is impressive. If there was a word to describe it, it would be tasty. At the start there is some nice cocoa and wood. There is also a dark chocolate flavor that seems to linger throughout and really makes the cigar enjoyable. Some coffee and leather appears, and there is some spice too. It does seem to be full-bodied, but not too strong.
Despite a couple of burn issues, the Nine Robusto Oscuro is very enjoyable. It looks great, and tastes even better. The dark chocolate flavor kept me wanting to smoke it even more. Full-bodied fans should enjoy it, although it is not too much of a powerhouse. A single averages out to around $7 each, and it comes in boxes of 25. While not cheap, the flavor makes it worth a try at least.
The excellent flavor of the Los Blancos Nine Robusto Oscuro earn it a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
That is all I have for today. I hope you enjoyed these reviews, and I encourage you to pick up the Nine Robusto Oscuro. Take care!
