The flavors packed into the 2009 are not bad. The first one that hits the senses is of coffee, just like in the cold taste. Later, a rather strong taste of pepper jumps in. Earth and leather pop in a few times as well. The final flavor that stands out is nutty, and is probably the most enjoyable one of them all.
When it comes down to it, the Tatuaje Cojonu 2009 is a solid smoke. It's oily, dark wrapper is inviting and makes you want to light up the cigar right away. The burn has some issues, but is not too bad. The flavors are also varied. With that out of the way, what about the price? You can find a single ranging in the neighborhood of $11 each, with the option to purchase the cigars in a pack of 5 or a box of 25. At $11, the 2009 just does not seem to be worth it. Sure, it's a quality cigar, but with so many others out there at a more affordable price tag, it seems to be a bit overpriced. If you really love Tatuaje selections, however, you may want to go ahead and pick up a single.
The Tatuaje Cojonu 2009 earns a solid rating of 3 out of 4 stars.
Padron 2000 Maduro Robusto

The Padron brand has been around since the 1960's and has produced many popular cigars in the past. With its 2000 series, Padron has churned out another line that has received high ratings from cigar fans and critics alike.
The Padron 2000 Maduro is a Robusto that measures 5 x 50. The cigar is a puro made with aged Cuban Seed Habano tobacco. Its filler, binder, and wrapper are all made from the Cuban Seed tobacco that is grown in Nicaragua. For those who don't necessarily enjoy Maduro cigars, Padron also released the 2000 in a Natural form as well. The 2000 is said to fall in between the medium and full-bodied categories.
