Rating: B+

Construction Comments:
Well-constructed oily maduro box-pressed with some veins. Very attractive despite a very minor wrapper split. Cut very easily with a straight cut.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Very rich aroma; sweet and earthy.
Burn:
Single flame torch light. Needed some correction in the beginning, but very quickly settled into a nice even burn. The draw on this cigar was near perfect providing for plenty of smoke.
Drink:
Ice Water (In hindsight though a cappuccino would of made a great accompaniment)
Smoking Notes:
This started off with a taste of deep French roasted coffee with an undertone of espresso in the background. This quickly developed into a well balanced cocoa, leaving you with a bit of sweetness married to a mild pepper which I have to say was enjoyable. By the 2/3 the cocoa had matured into a very impressive dark rich chocolate that just keeps you wanting to come back for more. As the cigar neared the end, a very sweet pepper developed momentarily but the espresso; which had been lingering in the background throughout, finally comes out in full to finish it all off.
Overall Experience and Rating:
I’d give this one a Solid B+. I was concerned about the minor wrapper split but it didn’t seem to affect the cigar as it burned smoothly and consistently throughout. Although I’d classify this as a medium bodied cigar, it did have moments of fullness that kept me guessing but they were never overpowering so I was able to enjoy the robust flavors this cigar has to offer.

Rating: C+

Construction Comments:
Beautiful cigar!! I love box-pressed cigars, they just feel like they were made for my hand!! Flawless wrap.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Smelled nice & pre-lit draw was earthy & pleasant.
Burn:
Spot on. A perfect burn with no re-light or touch ups needed.
Drink:
None
Smoking Notes:
Actually for as nice as this cigar looked & smoked, the flavor didn’t really do it for me. It was kind of a bummer. I think one of the problems with a stick that looks as nice as this one, is that it sets the bar really high. My expectations were very high, based on appearance. Too bad the flavor was not as nice as the appearance.
Overall Experience and Rating:
I didn’t hate this cigar, but I didn’t love it either. It did have some nice moments of spice, but they weren’t enough to save what ended up being a boring kind of “blah” smoke. I kind of felt like the guy who gets a date with a supermodel & then finds out she is bad in bed. Some of the other guys might have liked this one better, but it just wasn’t very complex or flavorful enough for my tastes. Normally this would be a “C“ cigar for me, but it looked so nice & was so well mannered that I have to bump it up to a “C+”

Rating: A

Construction Comments:
Firm , lightly veined. Silky Feeling slightly oily wrapper.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Coffee/Espresso smell. Slightly spicy. Xikar Cut.
Burn:
The burn was even. No corrections required. Firm Light Grey Ash
Drink:
Miller Lite
Smoking Notes:
The draw was fine on this square pressed cigar. I was presented with cedar hints along with the roasted coffee notes detected at pre- light. There is some spice here too but not in the extreme. Plenty of flavorful smoke.
Overall Experience and Rating:
Good Construction and Manners. This smoke provided several transitions. Tasty but not overly strong. Very enjoyable. This is an A cigar.

Construction Comments:
I was really looking forward to smoking this dark little 5 x 52 box pressed Maduro torpedo, it just looks like it's going to be a good cigar. Of course I should know better then to judge a book by its cover, so on to the fire dance! The construction of this dark beauty was excellent, no veins, very well made, firm, very nicely made.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
The pre-light aroma was pure tobacco and cedar. The first pre-light draw knocked me back with an onslaught of spice, OK it caught my attention! Cut with my Palio, and toasted the foot with my trusty Ronson.
Burn:
Even
Drink:
None
Smoking Notes:
After lighting the cigar I was surprised that it didn't have the spice that the initial draw produced, it was quite subdued. Right away it had light cocoa flavors with the every slightest hints of spice in the background. Hmm, this is interesting, but not exactly what I was expecting.
Overall Experience and Rating:
After about the first inch, to me this had a straight on tobacco flavor, not that that's a bad attribute, but I was expecting so much more from this cigar. I would almost tend to think this is in the bundle category. This one looked so promising, but in the end, it just didn't deliver. Maybe these would do well with some aging. Rating: C

Rating: B

Construction Comments:
The Cigar looked very good and nice and tight rolled before lit. It was a little soft to the touch.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
The Aroma of this cigar was a little spicey, the overall flavor of it before lit was spicy.
Burn:
Draw was good with lots of smoke, I had to touch this up 2 times, and from the start the burn was uneven about a 1/2 inch, it evened itself out about a fourth of the way down the cigar.
Drink:
None
Smoking Notes:
It started with some heavy spices, about mid way through it mild itself out until the end of the cigar. The ash was very loose, which caused more of an uneven burn half way down the cigar.
Overall Experience and Rating:
I loved the flavor of this cigar, with the issues of the burn I am going to rate it a solid B, I would love to try another one to see how it burns again.
