If complexity is what you love, the 1875 Cedro Deluxe #2 has just what the doctor ordered. The first third kicks off the smoking festivities with sweetness and mild spice. The spice continues into the second third and is joined by nuts. The final third offers a pleasant mix of cedar, wood, and more sweetness.
Although I readily admit I have not had much experience with Romeo y Julieta smokes in the past, I feel as if the 1875 Cedro Deluxe #2 will make me try more from the brand in the future. All in all, it was a cigar that offered solid construction, a good burn, and a nice assortment of flavors. It’s smooth enough for beginners, but could also satisfy those looking for something mild for any time of the day. At $5 to $6 per single, the Cedro Deluxe #2 is a good value. You can also find the cigar in packs of five or boxes of 25.
The Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cedro Deluxe #2 earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.
Romeo y Julieta Viejo “E”

Romeo y Julieta’s Viejo line is said to be one of its best. If it manages to be as good as the 1875 I sampled, I am in for a treat. As a side note, the term “viejo” is Spanish for “old.”
The Romeo y Julieta Viejo “E” measures 6 x54. In case you were wondering, the “E” stands for Epicure. Other sizes in the Viejo line include the 5 x 54 “R”, 6 1/8 x 52 “B”, and the 7 x 54 “C”. Those monikers represent the terms Robusto, Belicoso, and Churchill, respectively. The cigar's filler consists of a blend of tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. The binder is Honduran, and a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper completes the composition. The Viejo line is said to be medium-bodied in strength.
