The wrapper is dark and smooth, and appealing, with a hint of exotic oils. The box-press is great. They're a little slow on the draw at first, but produce a nice, light ash.

It has the flavor of a good maduro: sweet chocolate and well aged tobacco. It's rich and full bodied with a spicy finish. A bold red wine made a fine counterpart to this cigar. It's strong enough that you'll want a full stomach.
