Shakespeare Vintage Maduro Churchill
Size: 48 x 7
Wrapper: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua, Honduras
Construction: Smooth, silky, shiny, dark brown wrapper. Solid, firm roll. No soft spots.
Pre-light: Taste of tobacco, leather and earth. Rich, earthy aroma. Medium draw.
Burn: Lit evenly. Very solid silver-gray ash. Burned straight with a 1.5 inch ash.
Drink: Triple Espresso with sugar.
Smoking Notes: The espresso went well with this cigar. The rich, earthy, leathery tastes were never lost throughout, even as coffee and cedar joined the mix as I smoked. It started off
slightly strong and mellowed nicely as I smoked it. This is a solid, medium-to-full bodied maduro that is very good now, and will become excellent after aging in your humidor for a few months. The Shakespeare Vintage Maduro reminds me very much of the Rocky Patel Vintage 1992.
I highly recommend it.
