At first glance, the Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI is an attractive cigar that is highlighted by its eye-catching decorative band. The band showcases the Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro name over a silver, black, white, and yellow color scheme that really stands out. The cigar itself has some oil on the dark brown wrapper and a few small veins running throughout its body. It lacks any soft spots and is firm to the touch from head to toe. The Maduro VI is also quite smooth on the surface and sports solid construction. Prior to lighting, I detect a delicious chocolate taste and a sweet aroma.
The Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro lights with ease and has a great draw. A large amount of smoke is produced and the gray ash is solid. I do have to apply a couple of touchups to correct the burn, but it never gets too out of hand.
Moving on, the flavor of the Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro is complex and packs a nice punch. It begins with earth and sweetness right off the bat in the first third. The second third continues with a sweet profile that is soon given a nice punch of spicy pepper. Some leather is also detected here. The final third is a tasty blend of toast, wood, and more pepper. This is definitely a full-bodied cigar.
In the end, I have to say that I enjoyed the Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI. It provided a great presentation and complexity in the flavor department. I recommend trying at least a single if you enjoy Maduro wrappers and want something with a kick plus flavor. It’s not for beginners, however, so keep that in mind. You can find a single for around $6 each, and the cigar also comes in packs of five or boxes of 20.
The Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.
