In terms of flavor, the Trinidad Maduro Robusto is not bad at all. It kicks off a burst of bold spice that is contrasted by sweetness in the first third. This then transitions into more spice and tasty chocolate in the second third, which is by far my favorite portion of the cigar. The spice slowly goes away in the final third, and is replaced by mild tobacco that blends in with the flavorful chocolate for a nice ending. The cigar was not overpowering, but full-bodied seems like a good description.
Is the Trinidad Maduro Robusto a cigar worth buying? I believe so. It is a quality smoke that offers good construction, a decent burn, and enjoyable flavors. I would recommend it to more experienced smokers who want something full-bodied and flavorful. Maduro fans would also enjoy it. The Trinidad Maduro Robusto comes with a price tag of around $5 each. It also comes in packs of five and boxes of 20. That’s not a bad price for you to give it a try for a nice weekend smoke.
The Trinidad Maduro Robusto earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI

The Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro was produced by legendary cigar maker Frank Llaneza for Altadis USA. This is a follow-up to the original Siglo Limited Reserve line, and it’s said to pack more of a punch thanks to its specially selected wrapper. I kept this in mind and decided to have a meal before firing up the Maduro VI. Now let’s get on to the details, shall we?
The Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI measures 5 x 54. It’s just one of five sizes in the line that includes 5 1/2 x44 II, 7 x 54 IX, 5 x 54 IV, and the 5 1/8 x 52 X. The cigar’s filler is a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The binder is Broadleaf, and the wrapper is Mexican San Andres Morron. The Limited Reserve Maduro is said to be full-bodied in strength.
