OK, I know this is all very subjective, but here I go
with another atempt at a review: Picked up a Vibe Toro Grande on the way home
this evening.
Size: about 6" by 52 rg
Appearance: Finish is a pleasant, dark, shiny, oily wrapper with a seamless,
perfect construction and appearance. No large veins, a very smooth, silky
surface.
Taste: My regular smoke is the La Gloria Cubana Series R & this cigar did not
dissapoint. It's a Honduran/Nicaragua blend that seems a little stronger than my
LGC's, kind of Maduro like. It has a definate earthy taste, but it was a bit
spicy/peppery at light up. I think a couple months in the humidor might mellow
that part out of it. Lots of smoke and lots of flavor here. 1/2 way through the
bite did mellow out. This is an enjoyable cigar
Burn: P E R F E C T.
This is a damn fine cigar, with a perfect burn, easy draw, tons-o-smoke and
flavor that gets better the farther down it burns. For $5.50 you can't go wrong.
My benchmark for price is if it costs more than the five bucks or so I spend on
a La Gloria Cubana it had better be perfect. I would not replace my LGC with
this as a regular smoke, but cigars are like women - they cum in all different
flavors. Highly recommended.
