Moving into the flavor department, the Warlock Robusto continues to impress. It delivers on its promise of being full-flavored, which helps keep things interesting. The first third begins with a flavorful mix of sweetness, nuts, earth, and wood. The second third offers just a kick of mild spice, as well as more nuts and a rich caramel flavor. Wrapping up the flavor profile in the final third is cedar and more earth. Full-flavored and full-bodied is the perfect description for the Warlock.

Will the Warlock Robusto knock your socks off with its supposed power? No, but it does present enough kick that should satisfy those looking for a bold blend. The cigar's construction was excellent, and the burn was about as good as I could have hoped for. The flavors were complex and highly enjoyable. The Warlock Robusto comes in packs of five or boxes of 20, with a single hovering around the $6 mark. I'd call that a fair price, considering the quality of the product. I will also add that the Warlock Robusto’s high ratings are definitely earned, and you can’t go wrong with a box purchase.

The Warlock Robusto earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.

Punch Grand Cru No. 2 Maduro

The Punch Grand Cru is a creation of master blender Frank Llaneza. He developed the Grand Cru to basically counter the blend used for the previously released and well-received Punch Deluxe, which was introduced to the smoking public in 1990. The Grand Cru succeeded in presenting itself as a smoother alternative to the Punch Deluxe, garnering several high ratings from some of the industry’s biggest publications.

The Punch Grand Cru No. 2 Maduro measures 6 1/8 x 54. It's one of many sizes offered in the line, with the others ranging from the diminutive 4 x 50 Punchito all the way to the gigantic 8 ½ x 52 Prince Consort. The cigar's filler blend consists of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The binder is Connecticut Broadleaf, as is the wrapper. Punch also offers the Grand Cru line in a Natural version that comes with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. In terms of strength, the Grand Cru Maduro is listed as being medium to full-bodied.
