avole10Hello again everyone! Today we will pick up where we left off last time discussing new cigar releases for 2010. This time, in Part 2, you will find out about even more sticks that you might want to add to your shopping list next time you hit your favorite cigar store.

AVO Limited Edition 2010

Smokers who enjoy the added aura of exclusivity that comes with smoking a limited edition cigar may want to take a look at the Limited Edition 2010, or LE10, from AVO. Avo Uvezian, the main man behind AVO Cigars, has created the Limited Edition 2010 not only to give fans of the brand something new, but also to celebrate his 84th birthday. The LE10 is a follow up to the previously released Limited Edition 2009, better known as the Companero, which saw a good deal of success.

The LE 10 comes in just one size, a Super Robusto measuring 5.5x55. Its filler is made from Ligero tobaccos that give it boldness. Finishing its composition is a Mexican Sumatra binder and an Ecuadorian Special Sun Grown wrapper that gives the cigar a very dark and oily exterior that is easy on the eyes. Full-bodied fans should enjoy smoke and its flavors that include notes of fruit, chocolate, and coffee.

This limited edition cigar hit a select number of stores on March 22, so if you are intent on picking one up you may want to hurry. It is a limited edition after all, and only 10,000 will be released across the globe. Look for it in attractive black boxes of ten, and expect to pay around $15 for a single. That may seem high to many, but such is the case when there is a limited supply. The LE10 could be a bit strong for beginners, so keep that in mind if you like to give cigars to others as gifts.

Julieta from Romeo y Julieta

It's probably safe to say that there are more males that smoke cigars than females. That does not mean, however, that there shouldn't be cigars aimed at the feminine crowd. Habanos S.A., makers of the Romeo y Julieta brand of cigars, seem to agree with this notion, as evidenced by their plans to release the Julieta vitola. The Julieta vitola is being released as a tribute to women and their diverse roles within the tobacco industry, as both creators and consumers of the product.

The Julieta's size is more on the compact end of the size spectrum, measuring 4.63x33. This size is intended to appeal to women who wish to smoke something when they have a little time on their hands but still want to appreciate a quality cigar. They can expect quality too, as the Julieta is set to be composed of some of the best tobacco available from the renowned Cuban region known as Vuelta Abajo. The Julieta will come in packs of five in a special pack designed by Habanos SA to fit easily into a purse for portability. Keep an eye out for these slender sticks when they hit stores in the near future, as they may work well in getting some special lady into the hobby of smoking.

Wide Churchill from Romeo y Julieta

Habanos has also announced that they will release another vitola for the Romeo y Julieta brand. The newly planned vitola is the Wide Churchill. Joining its predecessors, the 4.88x50 Short Churchill and the 7x47 Churchill, the Wide Churchill sports a chunky 5.06x55 body that is highlighted by two bands. Enthusiasts can expect to find this oddly-shaped stick in boxes of 25.
