CAO La Traviata

CAO has announced that they will release two new sizes to the previously released La Traviata line to meet demand. Introduced to the public in 2009, CAO created the La Traviata line as a tribute to the brand with the same name born in 1904. This older brand of cigar exemplified everything a Cuban cigar should be, and CAO's newest release mimics it in terms of appearance and flavor. You could say that CAO changed things up a bit by recreating La Traviata, as the manufacturer is usually known for its innovative and hip releases that look to the future instead of back towards the past.
At its initial release in 2009, the La Traviata line was only offered in three sizes: the 5x50 Divino, the 6x52 Radiante, and the 7x54 Intrepido. The line's favorable response from the public has led CAO to add two more sizes this time around: the 5.5x52 Favorito and the 5.63x46 Animado. Like their three predecessors, the Favorito and the Animado will be made at CAO's factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.
The La Traviata is considered to be medium to full-bodied, with hints of spice and cedar dotting its flavor profile. It has a filler blend of Pueblo Nuevo Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, as well as a Cameroonian binder and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Look for the two new sizes in boxes of 24, with the Animado coming out first in March and the Favorito being available in May.
