Prometheus International's Sencillo

The Sencillo line of cigars from Prometheus International are a new release created by the company's founder, Keith Park. Park's inspiration for the new line was the enjoyment of the simple things in life, such as watching his daughters perform at their piano recitals. The line's name, Sencillo, is Spanish for simple. To keep the simple theme in mind, Park wanted a cigar for his brand that would let smokers light up whenever they wanted to in the name of enjoying a simple cigar.
To accomplish this task, Park enlisted the help of Christian Eiroa of Camacho Cigars. Eiroa's name popped into Park's mind as he remembered when Eiroa gave him a cigar he made back in 2008 while at the Cigar Rights of America Freedom Tour. The two joined minds and successfully created the Sencillo.
The Sencillo is medium to full-bodied. It is a Honduran puro, with a filler blend of Piloto Cubano and Habano de Jamastran tobaccos. The binder and wrapper are composed of the Honduran Habano de Jamastran tobacco as well. The line's cigars all have notes of spice, sweetness, and leather.
The Sencillo is offered in four different sizes: the 5 1/4x50 Robusto, the 5 3/4x52 Double Robusto, the 6 1/8x54 Piramide, and the 6 1/4x48 Short Churchill. Those looking for the most full-bodied experience should give the Robusto a try. Prices range from around $7 to $9 for a single, and the cigars come in boxes of 25.
