La Aroma de Cuba Marquis
La Aroma de Cuba has announced they will release a new cigar size to the market. Well, in actuality, it is not entirely new, as it as released in the past, but canceled. The cigar size in question is the Marquis, which measures 5 3/4x48. Ashton, which owns La Aroma de Cuba, released the Marquis, but halted its production after they shifted their manufacturing process from Honduras to Nicaragua.
Cigar fans who missed out on it will now have a chance to enjoy the Marquis once again, but on a limited scale. Ashton plans to make the Marquis available at special events, so one will likely have to escape the comforts of their home to enjoy it. It will be available in boxes of 50, with each cigar coming packaged in an eye-catching tubo.
With its ring gauge of 48, the Marquis will be the thinnest cigar from this particular Aroma de Cuba line. Other sizes include the 5x54 Robusto, the 5 1/2x52 Belicoso, the 5 1/2x60 Immensa, the 6x52 Monarch, and the 7x50 Churchill. Like other cigars from the line, the Marquis is handmade by cigar icon Don Pepin Garcia. It features a Nicaraguan filler that is topped off with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. You can expect to pay a little under $7 for a single Marquis.
