Following the footsteps of the previously released La Aurora 107 is the La Aurora Corojo. This upcoming release, as previously mentioned, will be made available only to those who frequent smoke shops, and not via internet retailers or snail mail. This line will be highlighted by its Dominican Corojo wrapper that adds some strength to the overall profile. It's considered to be medium to full-bodied, and will be offered in five different sizes: the 5 x 50 Robusto, the 5 1/4x 43 No. 4, the 6 1/4x 52 Belicoso, the 6 1/2x 50 Gran Corona, and the 7 1/2x 50 Double Corona. The La Aurora Corojo will retail at approximately $5 to $7 per single, depending on which size you pick.

Miami Cigar also plans to release additional cigars in the form of the Art Deco, the Dominicano, and the 1989 lines. Keep your eyes peeled for them, as it appears that Nestor Miranda and his company are making a real push to move up in the industry.

La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Chisel

While the Air Bender from La Flor Dominicana debuted earlier this year, it only came with the following sizes: the 5 x 50 Matatan, the 5 1/2x 42 Poderosa, the 5 1/2x 52 Maestro, the 6 1/4x 60 Valiente, and the 7 1/2x 38 Villano. To change things up a bit, La Flor Dominicana's Litto Gomez plans to release a new size, the Chisel, to supplement the Air Bender line.

The Chisel adopts a rather odd shape where its top third is flattened. The eventual release of the Air Bender Chisel marks the first time Gomez has used such a shape since 2004. Like other cigars in the line, the Chisel will be full-bodied, although it will be a bit more bold than its differently shaped predecessors. This is mostly due to its Ecuadorian Habano Seed wrapper, in which Gomez will use more of a high priming Ligero leaf in its construction. The cigar's filler features Dominican tobaccos of the Corojo, Sumatra Seed, and Piloto Cubano variety. The binder is Dominican as well.

The Air Bender line is one of the strongest from the La Flor Dominicana brand, and the new Chisel size will pack even more of a punch. Be on the lookout for this new release when it hits retailers at around $8 per single.
