newcig Is your list of cigars getting stale? Are you looking for something new to smoke? Look no further, because today we have some new cigar releases to discuss. We have one cigar from a premium brand that only a select few will get to touch. We also have a newer line from the legendary Garcia family, as well as an extra size being added to one line that is of “brick house” proportions.

Gurkha SEALs

The Navy SEALs (Sea, Air, Land) are just one of the many special units of the United States' Armed Forces that work and fight daily to protect the nation from harm. They are known to be some of the toughest around, and what better way to salute them than with their own cigar. Gurkha, popular maker of premium cigars, has done just that with its SEALs selection.

You've seen it in movies, and maybe in real life: hardened combat vets walking around with a stogie in their mouths. The two seem to go hand in hand, as cigars and tough guys are like a match made in heaven. Gurkha's new SEALs cigar is made with that intention, as the victory cigar for the special naval unit. The best part is that no imposters will be able to pretend that they are SEALs by smoking them. If you want to get your hands on one, it is not as easy as waltzing into your neighborhood smoke shop and picking one up. Instead, you will have to call a retailer and request that they order the cigar. The final part of the process prior to paying for it is that you must also show official SEAL identification.

The verification process is a great idea. After all, these guys put their lives on the line in a major way. Considering that only 105 boxes of 20 cigars are being produced, the last thing you want to happen is for supply to run out. The SEALs are a limited group and deserve their limited cigar. The cigar will only come in a 7 x 52 Churchill size.
