Today seems like a good day to discuss some newly released cigars or ones that will be released in the near future. On deck we have four new selections that may find their way into your homes soon, so let's check them out!
San Cristobal Papagayo XXL

If you love bigger cigars, there is a new cigar on the market that might interest you: the San Cristobal Papagayo XXL. Just from its name alone with the XXL tag, you know you can expect a big stick. Measuring in at a whopping 6x60, this cigar definitely lives up to its name. Don Pepin Garcia is the man behind their creation, so you can expect a quality stick, as they are produced at Pepin's My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua. In case you were wondering, papagayo translates to parrot in English, and the cigar has a large parrot on its band to reflect the name.
The San Cristobal line itself is not new, as it was introduced to the market previously by Ashton Cigars and made available in eight different sizes. The Papagayo XXL size is being released now out of a demand for the product. The original Papagayo size of the San Cristobal line was a customer favorite, and it measured 5 3/4x55, which is pretty hefty in itself. Customers wanted an even bigger cigar, and thus we now have the XXL.
The Papagayo XXL is a Nicaraguan puro that uses Nicaraguan tobaccos for its filler, binder, and its oily dark wrapper, and it is topped off with a Cuban triple cap. It's a full-bodied stick, so more seasoned smokers will be able to handle it better than beginners. Smokers can expect the Papagayo XXL to have flavors that include dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, earth, and some spice, among others.
The San Cristobal Papagayo XXL is now available in boxes of 21. It's a bit pricey, with a suggested retail of $9.50 per single, but if you love fat cigars then it might be worth a try.
