Wynwood Cigar Factory Offers Smoke and Art in Miami

Some of the savviest minds in the cigar industry have joined forces to bring manufacturing to the heart of Miami, with the opening of the Wynwood Cigar Factory. In addition to turning out premium cigars, this eclectic location will also showcase local street art.
The guys who founded the Wynwood Cigar Factory are former Camacho Cigars president Christian Eiroa and Robert Caldwell, owner of Miami’s Hotel Humidor.
On December 1, the pair brought the ten best cigar rollers in Honduras to Miami to ply their craft at the Factory, to roll tobacco grown on the farm of Eiroa’s family in the Honduran Jamastran Valley.
The Wynwood Cigar Factory is now open to the public at 101 NW 24th Street in Miami.

New York City Gets its Own Cigar with the OSOK 212

Fans of the Room 101 cigar brand and its limited release OSOK (“One Shot, One Kill”) will be happy to hear that four new smokes have been added to the line. Meet the OSOK 212.
Los Angeles jeweler turned cigar maker Matt Booth has just introduced the special New York City edition of the OSOK called the OSOK 212. The 212 comes in four models, two parejos and two diademas, selling for $12.95 to $16.50.
The 212 OSOKs are manufactured by one roller at Tabacos Rancho Jamastran from a mix of Honduran and Dominican fillers encased in Ecuadoran Habano wrappers and Honduran binders.
Just 100 boxes of each model were produced, each containing 10 cigars. The 212 boxes each feature an image of the Empire State Building.
Booth stated, “We wanted to do something special for New York. I think we’ve done just that with the OSOK 212 edition.”
