LELAND, N.C. - Bugsy's Cigars is organizing a golf tournament to benefit the
Leland Police Association (LPA) and the Leland Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department.
The tournament, which will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at Magnolia Greens Golf
Plantation in Leland, will feature raffle prizes, contests and an awards dinner
catered by Antonio's Pizza and Pasta.
"Our police and fire departments do a great job, but their work isn't always
appreciated enough," says Frank Bullara, owner of Bugsy's Cigars. "This
tournament provides individuals and businesses in our community with an
opportunity to support our police and fire departments and have fun in the
process."
Registration begins at 12:30 and the tournament kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with a
shotgun scramble. Contests include a 50/50 raffle, closest to the line and more.
Prizes will also be awarded for first and second place flight winners based on
post-score flighting. Following the tournament, golfers and guests are invited
to attend an awards dinner at the Magnolia Greens Clubhouse.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for both individuals and corporations.
Anyone interested in sponsoring the tournament should do so before July 5.
Contributions are tax deductible and all proceeds will be directly donated to
charity.
Those interested in participating in or in sponsoring the tournament should
contact Frank Bullara of Bugsy's Cigars at 910-399-2923.
