2004 Corojo harvest wrappers make their debut.
Camacho Cigars makers of popular brands such as Camacho Corojo, Camacho SLR Maduro, Camacho Coyolar (Puro), Baccarat ³The Game² and La Fontana, will begin to ship, all of its Camacho Corojo cigars and El Legend-Ario Authentic Corojo cigars with the new 2004 Corojo Harvest tobacco!
³My father, Julio, has called this crop his best Corojo harvest so far.
Aside from a higher wrapper yield, the quality and the colors are like never before.² said Christian L. Eiroa, President of Camacho Cigars.
This new tobacco will allow Camacho Cigars to offer a Corojo Maduro that will be true to the word ³Maduro², which in English translates to ³Mature.² As a matter of fact, the Camacho Corojo and the El Legend-Ario Authentic Corojo will be the only cigars on the market (to the best of our knowledge) that will bear a Maduro wrapper that is neither Broadleaf nor Mexican. The fact is, that Camacho Cigars is the only company growing Authentic Corojo tobacco.
All sizes of the Camacho Corojo line will now be available in Corojo Maduro.
Thusly Camacho Cigars will be eliminating the Mexican wrapper from the Monarca Maduro and Diploma Maduro. The Camacho Corojo cigars and the El Legend-Ario Authentic Corojo cigars will now be classified as either ³Natural² or ³Maduro². The Camacho Corojo ³Dark Naturals² will be eliminated once the Dark Natural inventory has been exhausted.
