The first story will showcase a new partnership between a famous comedian and a trendy lifestyle brand. Finishing things off will be news on a couple of proposed tax increases in the potentially unlucky states of Nebraska and Nevada.
Comedian Ron White partners with Zino Platinum
A recent press release from the Zino Platinum brand of cigars has revealed its rather interesting partnership with comedian Ron White. White is known by many for his appearances on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. His impressive resume also includes two Grammy nominations, a New York Times Bestseller, a Gold Record, various hour-long television specials, and CD and DVD sales that surpass 10 million. Beyond his successful career in entertainment, White also shares a passion for premium cigars. In fact, he always seems to smoke a cigar during his comedic routines. As such, Zino Platinum has asked White to join their team in an attempt to increase the premium brand's awareness.
White's primary role in the partnership will consist of appearances at retail outlets to promote Zino Platinum cigars. His first appearance took place on March 29 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, as he helped unveil the newest line from Zino Platinum. In addition to his public appearances, White will also offer support to some of the brand's creative marketing efforts.
Zino Platinum was formed in 2002 by the Oettinger Davidoff Group. The brand fuses old cigar traditions with modern culture, and claims to be the leading lifestyle brand in the industry.
