Camacho Cigars Becomes Corporate Sponsor of the Orange Bowl Festival

Davidoff of Geneva and the Orange Bowl Committee recently announced that Camacho Cigars will become an official corporate sponsor of the Orange Bowl Festival. The three-year deal includes the nationally televised 2012, 2013, and 2014 Discover Orange bowls that pit some of college football’s most elite teams against one another, as well as the biggest game of them all, the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship.
While the sponsorship obviously means an increased presence for Camacho Cigars in and around the many game day events set to take place before the Orange Bowls and BCS National Championship in the years to come, the brand’s actual participation is a bit more involved than just having its name stamped on signs that dot the festivities. Sun Life Stadium will host various Camacho-themed locations, beginning with the Camacho Club Lounge at the Orange Bowl Game Day Fan Zone. In addition, two Camacho cigar lounges will be open in the stadium’s designated smoking areas where those attending the Orange Bowl VIP pre-game party can enjoy premium cigars.
Michael Saks, chief operating officer of the Orange Bowl, commented on the sponsorship in the official press release, saying, “We pride ourselves in affiliating with quality brands, especially those with strong South Florida ties, like Camacho Cigars.” Dylan Austin, Camacho’s head of marketing, added, “Being that our roots stem from South Florida, it's a great honor to be partnered with such a class organization that does so much for the community.”
