The smoothest line of the three is the 60 by Sosa. Made in Honduras and listed as being medium-bodied in strength, the 60 by Sosa features a full lineup of cigars with ring gauges of 60: 4 x 60, 5 x 60, 6 x 60, and 7 x 60. Each cigar comes with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and a retail price ranging between $6.25 and $7.80.
Moving up a notch in strength is the Sosa Family Selection. Also made in Honduras, this line is considered to be medium to full-bodied in strength. Natural and Maduro versions will be available in the following sizes: 5 x 50 Robusto, 6 x 50 Toro, 6 x 50 Gran Toro, 6 x 60 Double Magnum, and 7 x 48 Churchill. Suggested retail price for the line is $5.40 to $7 per single, depending on the size.
Last, but not least, is the full-bodied Sosa Underground. The line is said to be the “hippest” of the new trio from Antillian, featuring original artwork from Miami-based tattoo artist Jay Barranco. Covered in a Habano wrapper, the Sosa Underground will be offered in two Perfecto sizes: 4 3/4 x 41 Arcane and 5 1/2 x 41 Delphic. The Arcane will sell for $6 each, while the Delphic will have a suggested retail price of $6.50 per single. Unlike the other two lines, the Sosa Underground is made on U.S. soil in the Little Havana section of Miami.
Arby Sosa, Antillian's sales manager, offered his thoughts on the new Sosa selections in the official press release: “We are looking forward to introducing the quality of Sosa cigars back to the consumer and creating something this fresh and exciting.” Be on the lookout for these three new lines, as they should be available sometime this summer. As you can see, there's quite the variety, so smokers of every level should find something right up their alley.
