An online tournament for fans of cigars and poker
Cigars and poker are like a match made in heaven. The Zino Platinum brand and the online poker site ClubWPT know this and have decided to combine the two with the Zino Platinum VIP Tournament. The tournament is taking place throughout the month of May, so you still have some time to capitalize from the comfort of your own computer.
The participant skillful and lucky enough to come in first place will be rewarded with a Zino Platinum VIP Cigar Package valued at $100. The package includes a mix of Zino Platinum's Scepter and Crown Series cigars. The Scepter Series is a unique line that has a filler blend of Dominican and Peruvian tobaccos. An aged Connecticut binder and Ecuadorian wrapper complete its composition. The Crown Series is a rich, full-bodied cigar that features a five-year old filler of mostly Dominican Ligero mixed with some Peruvian tobacco. Aged Connecticut Shade tobacco is used for the binder and wrapper.
As mentioned, the Zino Platinum VIP Tournament is currently in effect until the end of the month. It's scheduled for 10:15 PM Eastern on Monday through Sunday, with the only exception being Wednesday, which is scheduled for a 8:15 start. To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older. My adopted town, Burlington, VT, just narrowly dodged a bullet a couple of weeks ago. The Reactionary Goody-Goody city council passed a ban completely outlawing smoking in the greater downtown area. Bob Kiss, the outgoing mayor vetoed it. The Burlington Occupy movement was planning a major smoke-in for the day the ban was to go into effect. I threatened to empty out my 400+ humidor and pass the treats out to anyone who participated. We had guys who'd bought cartons of cigs to pass out...
Ya gotta love a revolution that smokes.
