JD Cigars Hires Bongo Bay Fusion to Fulfill Marketing and Design Needs

JD Cigars, the company behind the Temptation Cigars line, recently announced that it will call on Bongo Bay Fusion, a marketing and design firm, to help expand its reach. Now, if you are unfamiliar with JD Cigars or the Temptation name, you are probably not alone, as the boutique line of Nicaraguan cigars made in small batches has not really hit full stride as of yet when it comes to maximum appeal. That’s where Bongo Bay Fusion is set to come into the picture.
David Insignares, one of the co-owners of JD Cigars along with Jorge Gil, gave his reasoning for choosing Bongo Bay Fusion in the official press release: “Marketing a new boutique cigar company in this kind of stagnant economy makes a person very wary of who to work with or trust. The owner of Bongo Bay, Kale Beyer's prior work at prestigious firms such as Christensen Shipyards and Deloitte and Touche really made the difference in deciding the level of company we wanted to work with.” Insignares added that Bayer’s connections to many high end markets was another reason for employing Bongo Bay for JD Cigars’ marketing and design needs.
Beyond his work with the aforementioned companies, Beyer’s resume also boasts work associated with the promotion of some major Hollywood projects, the American LeMans racing series, and the Champ Car World Series, which is now referred to as the IRL. Beyer responded to the challenges awaiting him from JD Cigars by saying: “The great reviews that the Temptation Cigars have received so far, in the low to mid 90's, and genuine integrity of Mr. Insignares lets me know that this is a quality cigar and a great company to represent. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do, and happy to be selected to work with a company of this caliber.”
