Toraño Teams Up With Arrington Vineyards in New Contest

A great cigar can often be made even better by pairing it with a complementary beverage. A pairing of choice for many cigar connoisseurs is wine. With that notion in mind, the Toraño Family Cigar Co. has decided to partner with Arrington Vineyards in a contest made to celebrate two products that are true examples of the finer things in life. What exactly are the prizes at stake? 25 Toraño-branded stainless steel wine refrigerators and one vacation to Nashville, Tennessee, to visit Arrington Vineyards. Each refrigerator has the capacity to hold 24 bottles of wine, and is a great addition to any enthusiasts’ home.

A strong relationship between Bruce Lewis, VP of Sales and Marketing at Toraño, and Kip Summers, winemaker and partner at Arrington, led to the creation of the new contest. Over the years, the two have had the luxury of enjoying fine wines and premium cigars at the vineyards, and the Toraño Family Cigar Co. felt that it would be a great idea to form a contest that would allow one lucky winner to do the same.

Toraño has selected 25 stores across the United States to participate in the wine refrigerator promotion. The promotion will last for 30 days, after which a raffle will take place to choose the winner. One winner will be selected per store. Toraño promises limited-time sales at each participating store during the promotion, as well as the opportunity to purchase special merchandise. The highlight of the offering is Arrington Vineyards- Toraño Antebellum private barrel reserve wine. Arrington Vineyards created the wine as a specific pairing for cigars from Toraño. The wine is characterized by its aging process which includes 16 months in oak wine barrels and 6 months in Tennessee whiskey barrels.

While the thought of owning a unique wine refrigerator is certainly reason enough to enter the Toraño and Arrington contest, the grand prize of a trip to Arrington Vineyards is the biggest attraction. One lucky winner will get to experience an all-expense paid weekend that includes a tour of the vineyard, gourmet lunch, wine tasting, and a cigar smoking session with Charlie Toraño.

More information on the contest, including rules, dates, and a list of the 25 participating stores can be found at You can also find out more about Arrington Vineyards by visiting Remember, the contest only lasts for a month, so act quickly if you want a chance to win.
