Espinosa y Ortega, who's Cubao line was introduced in the Fall of this year has had an extraordinary reception from cigar smokers; particularly those that enjoy a smooth, full bodied smoke with some spicy notes.

While the original line came in six (6) sizes including the standard fare, plus a magnificent 7.5” x 38 Lancero, the success of the line has prompted an addition. Miami Cigar & Company, distributors of Cubao and E y O’s 601 since the beginning of November, will start shipping Cubao No. 7 very shortly. It is a superb 6” x 42 with a 'flag' cap.

I have seen the packaging and the cigars; in fact I grabbed a box so that Cigar-Review.com could be the first to review the cigar. I have no doubt that Eddie Ortega will get out a Press Release Monday or Tuesday, and be annoyed that I have jumped the gun.

Be that as it may, the fact is, everyone in the industry, who wanted to, smoked the cigar in Las Vegas this past summer. The No. 7 was used to introduce the Cubao line, and was highly praised by all who smoked it.

The size was produced in error! Ergo, the 2000+/- sticks were used as samples. They were so well regarded, as was the Cubao blend and line, that tobacconists have been asking Eddie and Erik if they intended to produce it.

You might say they have succumbed to smoker demand and added No. 7 to the already successful line.

Cubao No. 7 should start appearing at your favorite tobacconist shortly. If it doesn’t you can always ask about it or ... change tobacconist!
