Fuller's Griffin Cigar Bar will reopen at the Millennium Harvest House hotel
on Friday, March 7, featuring free appetizers, half-price drinks and scotch
tastings.

Named after Great Britain's famed Fuller's Griffin Brewery, the cigar bar
dispenses Fuller's London Pride, Porter and ESB using a classic hand-pump
draught system known to enhance flavor. Patrons can choose from other
distinctive single-malt scotch, bourbons, bottled beers, wine and spirits while
sampling selections created by the hotel's Executive Chef Keith Falco.
The cigar bar closed at the hotel in November 2007 when Fuller's Griffin
underwent a restructuring of management. During the down time the bar was
renovated with new carpeting, wall covering and mechanical improvements, said
Ken Wallace, the Millennium's director of food and beverage. "We're reopening
with a more upscale bar, more like a traditional cigar bar."
The cigar bar will open at 5 p.m. on March 7 and complimentary appetizers will
be served until 7 p.m., and all beer, wine and spirits will be half-price until
10 p.m. Scotch tastings will occur throughout the evening.
Fuller's Griffin has added more cigars to its menu, allowing guests to pair with
food and spirits from various regions in the world. Cigar distributors and local
liquor distributors will be on hand. There will be a drawing for a free wine
dinner, cigar locker rental and cigars.
Humidified cigar locker rentals will be available at half price during the
evening.
The bar's hours are 5 to 10 p.m. seven days a week. Extended time and space are
available for private functions. For more information, contact the Millennium
