Cigar Holder for Golfers Gets a Plug

The cigar-smoking golfer is constantly being faced with a dilemma—where does he stash his stogie while teeing off? Viewers of the recent PGA Championship observed how Miguel Angel Jimenez used a certain golf ball cigar holder while putting, and since then, the company that sells the device has been flooded with new orders.

Steve Naples, designer of the Hole-In-One Cigar Holder told the Golf Digest, “That explains my order line exploding [Sunday].”

Partagas Set to Celebrate Anniversary in Cuba

Cuban cigar maker Partagas will be having its 167th anniversary this year, and the brand will be celebrating in style by inviting friends to the party in Cuba.



More than 350 cigar professionals, including distributors, specialists and entrepreneurs will be making the trip, according to Abel Exposito, the director of Partagas Cigar Factory. Exposito also pointed out that in 2011, Partagas contributed more than $300,000 to the Cuban health sector.

As part of the 13th International Habano Festival, Partagas will be debuting two new cigar shapes. Visitors to the celebration will be treated to a tour of tobacco plantations in the territory of San Antonio de Los Banos as well as a sumptuous anniversary supper.

Fuente’s Havana Nights: A Family Affair Coming to Miami

What could be better than a night of food, drinks, cigars and fun? That’s what Carlos Fuente Jr. and “Guayabera Lady” Berta Bravo have planned for August 25 in Miami, with proceeds going to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.



Guests will enjoy an open bar hosted by Coca Cola and Bacardi before feasting on cuisine from Sushi Sake and CaperDiem. DJ Gabe and Jenny Love will provide the music, while Fuente will be passing out cigars.
