Punch Rare Corojo 10th Anniversary

The end of March featured a new release from Punch, as the brand introduced its 10th Anniversary Rare Corojo. This medium to full-bodied cigar is another in the line of Rare Corojo cigars from Punch. General Cigar produces the line, and this newest edition comes in a 5 x 50 size. The cigar's filler is a blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It has a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and is finished off with a proprietary reddish-brown Connecticut Corojo wrapper that is considered to be the cigar's highlight. The 10th Anniversary is said to offer a bit of a new taste when compared to Rare Corojo releases in the past. When smoking this cigar, expect a spicy kick.
The Punch Rare Corojo has been released to tobacco shops across the United States. Its supply is very limited and is expected to be available only until it is sold out. The cigar is offered in packs of five or unique red wooden boxes of 25. The suggested retail price for a single is $6.50, which is not bad when you consider its limited quantity.
Nestor Miranda Grand Reserve
Some information about a new release from Nestor Miranda was revealed earlier this month. The release in question is the Nestor Miranda Grand Reserve, and it is set to be ready for order by retailers during July's IPCPR show in Las Vegas.
What can you expect from the Grand Reserve? Well, besides a quality cigar, expect a very limited quantity. Only 1,000 Grand Reserve cigars are to be released, and they will come in boxes of ten. Expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 per single.
As for the cigar's makeup, each will have a filler and binder made from Nicaraguan tobaccos, as well as a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Don Pepin Garcia will oversee production at the My Father Cigars factory.
La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero The Digger

If you enjoy big cigars, there's a new one on the market that is of epic proportions. Be on the lookout for The Digger, which is part of the Double Ligero line from La Flor Dominicana. This 8 1/2 x 60 Giant was recently released to 100 select retailers across the country, and it is sure to get some looks from across the room should you happen to smoke it.
The Digger comes in boxes of 20 and sells for approximately $10 per single. It has a Dominican filler and binder, and a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Needless to say, anyone who enjoys bigger cigars has had their prayers answered by La Flor Dominicana with The Digger, so make sure to pick one up before their supply runs out.
