La Aurora 107 Salomon

Fans of the 107 line from La Aurora should be glad to know that it is getting an extension with the addition of the limited edition 7.25 x 52 Salomon. The new size is expected to be released sometime during the middle of June this year. Miami Cigar & Company will be in charge of the distribution. The 107 Salomon will be made available to special limited accounts across the United States. Hector Paz, Miami Cigar & Company’s national sales manager, noted that the release will be given to the select retailers who have helped promote the 107 line since it first hit the market.

La Aurora introduced the 107 line two years ago to commemorate the company’s 107th anniversary and to celebrate its claim to having the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. The La Aurora 107 features a filler that consists of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The binder is also Dominican, and an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper tops things off. The Salomon’s 7.25 x 52 size mimics that of the previously released La Aurora Puro Vintage 2003.

Each La Aurora 107 Salomon will carry a suggested retail price of $12. The cigar will come packaged in boxes of eight. If you would like to give the line a try before the Salomon is released, other sizes that are currently available include the 4.5 x 50 Robusto, 5.5 x 43 Corona, 5.5 x 54 Toro, 6.25 x 52 Belicoso, 7 x 58 Gran 107, and the 7.5 x 40 Lancero.
