Punch Rare Corojo and 10th Anniversary Edition

General Cigar has decided to release its Punch Rare Corojo line once again. If you want to enjoy it, however, you better act fast, because the company plans to only offer the line until May 31, or until its supply runs out. General Cigar has made a habit out of releasing the Rare Corojo once a year, and the line has managed to garner solid ratings.
The Punch Rare Corojo features a filler blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Its binder is Connecticut Broadleaf, while the wrapper is of the Ecuadorian Sumatra variety. The special wrapper, which gives the cigar a smooth taste and an attractive reddish tint, is only grown in limited quantities.
The Punch Rare Corojo comes in seven different sizes: the 4.5 x 50 Rothschild, 4.5 x 60 Champion, 5.1 x 54 Magnum, 5.2 x 45 Elites, 6 x 60 El Doble, 6.1 x 50 Pita, and the 6.7 x 48 Double Corona. Each cigar carries a suggested retail price ranging from $3.59 to $6.49.
Besides the annual release of the Punch Rare Corojo, General Cigar also announced that it has released a limited supply of the Punch Rare Corojo 10th Anniversary Edition. Its availability will expire on May 31 as well.
Like the standard Rare Corojo, the 10th Anniversary Edition is characterized by a filler blend of Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan tobaccos plus a Connecticut Broadleaf binder. Unlike the standard line, the special edition cigar comes with a rare Connecticut Corojo wrapper. It measures 5 x 50 and has a suggested retail price of $6.99 each. General Cigar originally released the Rare Corojo 10th Anniversary Edition last year.
