There’s been a decent amount of news concerning new cigar releases as of late, so today we will discuss a number of them from such brands as Montecristo, La Aroma de Cuba, La Flor Dominicana, VegaFina, and La Palina.
Montecristo New York Connoisseur Edition

If you live in the New York area or are planning a trip there soon, the Montecristo New York Connoisseur is a new release that you will want to check out. Hopefully you enjoy large cigars, however, because this one measures in at a whopping 6 x 60, and it’s the only size in the line.
The Montecristo New York Connoisseur was made to honor New York City and all of its greatness. Unfortunately, New York is also the only place where the cigar is available, as Altadis USA slated it for a regional release. Luckily, it is available statewide, so those outside of the bustling city will also have a chance to enjoy the cigar. The cigar is made in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera de Garcia factory and is filled with tobacco from the fertile Central American nation as well. The binder is Nicaraguan, and its exterior consists of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The Connoisseur sports a box-pressed shape and supposedly offers a smoking experience that is complex and rich. In terms of strength, the Connoisseur is listed as medium to full-bodied, so it’s geared more toward experienced smokers.
As for its packaging, the New York Connoisseur comes in highly attractive glossy black boxes of 10 that showcase an outline of the New York City skyline. Each single carries a suggested retail price of $14. The Connoisseur is a limited release, so act quickly if you hope to get your hands on one.
