La Aroma de Cuba Marquis

La Aroma de Cuba is a line that is put out by Ashton Distributors. The line has its fair share of followers, and it has recently expanded with the increased production and distribution of its Marquis vitola.
The Marquis was actually released in early 2010 as a promotional cigar. It originally came in crates of 50 and was passed out solely at La Aroma de Cuba's special in-store events. The cigar's use as a promotional tool was a success. It was so successful, that its popularity led to Ashton's decision to make it available in retail stores.
The Marquis measures 5 ¾ x 48. It is the only cigar in the La Aroma de Cuba line that has a ring gauge below 50. The cigar is handmade in Nicaraguan by Don Pepin Garcia. It has a Nicaraguan filler and a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The Marquis is said to have a bit more complexity than the other vitolas in the La Aroma de Cuba line, but still maintains the spiciness the line is known for. In terms of strength, it is listed as being medium to full-bodied.
Each Marquis comes packed in a handsome tube, and special boxes of ten cigars are available. A single retails for $6. If you have a hard time finding the Marquis but want to sample the La Aroma de Cuba line, you can try one of its other sizes: the 5 x 54 Robusto, the 5 ½ x 52 Belicoso, the 5 ½ x 60 Immensa, the 6 x 52 Monarch, or the 7 x 50 Churchill.
