More Details on the Comeback by Cremo Cigars

A little while back in our New Cigar Releases for October 2011 Edition Part 1 we discussed a comeback by Cremo Cigars. The brand was one of the top selling of the 1900’s and is now experiencing a rejuvenation of sorts. Some new details on Cremo selections have been released to give you more of an idea of what to expect once the brand officially becomes available in January 2012. The 2012 IPCPR Show in Orlando will supposedly be the setting for the brand’s launch.

The details provided to us on the upcoming Cremo launch center around the brand’s first release dubbed the “Classic.” Willy Herrera is responsible for the line’s blending, which is said to have taken place just before he left Drew Estate. The Classic will feature a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The binder will also be Nicaraguan, and a Habano wrapper will top things off. The Classic’s strength is listed as medium to full-bodied. It will be offered in three sizes: the 5 x 50 Excelsior in a Robusto format, the 5 ¾ x 46 Magnum Opus in a Corona Gorda format, and the 6 x 52 Intrepidus in a Toro format. Production of the Cremo Classic takes place at the El Titan de Bronze Cigar Factory. You can keep a closer eye on upcoming Cremo releases as they become available right here on Puff.com, and you can visit Cremo’s official site at www.cremocigars.com.
