El Tiante Cigars

tiant

Baseball fans might find the El Tiante name to be familiar, as it was the nickname attached to Luis Tiant, an All-Star pitcher who played for various Major League teams from 1964 to 1982. Tiant previously launched a cigar company with his son Daniel that now goes by the name of the Tiant Cigar Group, and it’s now coming on strong with the release of two new blends in the form of the Habano Oscuro and the Habano Rosado. Both feature a filler and binder of Nicaraguan tobaccos and differ only in their varying versions of Ecuadorian Seed wrappers.

Don Pepin Garcia is credited with creating the blends, so you can pretty much guarantee that they will be solid smokes. Packed in boxes of 20, both the Habano Oscuro and Habano Rosado come in four sizes: the 5 x 50 Robusto, 6 x 50 Toro, 6 x 52 Pyramid, and 6 x 60 Toro Gordo. Look to pay a suggested retail price of around $7 to $9 per single.
