cigrelease11.28 It’s been a few weeks since we discussed new releases here on Puff.com, but we finally have some more news to report in that realm. Keep reading for more information on new and upcoming releases in the form of the Wicked Indie, Urbano Connecticut, and the JM Tobacco Carnero.

Wicked Indie

You may have heard of the Beach Cigar Group, as they are responsible for producing the flashy, well-marketed, and pricy premium brand of Gurkha Cigars. While the Gurkha brand has certainly carved out a niche for itself, the Beach Cigar Group is expanding with the release of the Wicked Indie. It’s the first release from the East India Trading Company, which is a subsidiary of the Beach Cigar Group and Gurkha. Unlike Gurkha and its wide selection of usually high priced stogies, the Wicked Indie is being made available at a price point that could definitely be seen as more wallet-friendly.

The Wicked Indie is an offering that should appeal to fans of puro cigars. It consists of a Nicaraguan filler that has been aged for three years, and the binder is Nicaraguan as well. Capping it off is a Habano wrapper. Listed as medium to full-bodied in strength, the Wicked Indie is said to offer richness and complexity that includes flavors that are spicy and nutty, among others. The Indie comes in four different sizes to suit varying preferences: the 5 x 52 Robusto, 6 x 54 Toro, 6 x 60 XO, and 7 x 50 Churchill. As mentioned earlier, the pricing of the Indie is quite reasonable, with a single carrying a suggested retail price of $4.79 to $5.90 each, depending on the size. Look for the cigar in rustic, yet handsome boxes of 50.
