Orleans Group International, a Boca Raton, FL based importer and distributor of humidors and other cigar accessories has acquired Cigar Classics, Inc., of Apex, NC.

Cigar Classics produces travel humidors using Halliburton Zero cases that are fitted with humidifiers and trays to hold cigars. They also own the Paradigm Humidification device, one of the most effective passive humidification units.

Steve Harvey, CEO of Orleans Group noted that, “When Gary Arzt brought the product and the company to my attention, I immediately recognized what we could do with it, particularly in international markets.”

Harvey and Cigar Classics owner, Tal Holloway and his partner, Shelby Smithey entered into discussions with Orleans that lead to a Letter of Intent and, ultimately, the acquisition by Orleans.

Cigar Classics had grown without benefit of advertising or a field sales force to a very profitable company since its founding in 1993. Their products are known for being solid; superb quality; and well designed.
