On this first day of December we have a variety of things to discuss concerning the cigar industry. We will take a look at a couple of new cigar releases in the Swag and La Sirena lines, as well as one recently released survey that shows many adults within the United States do not favor a complete ban on smoking.
Swag cigars look to make a splash
Cigars are not only smoked by many enthusiasts for the smoking enjoyment they offer. Some also appreciate the aura that smoking a cigar brings. You could say that they enjoy the swagger that cigar smoking exudes. To reflect this entiment somewhat, there is a new line of cigars that is fresh on the market. The name of the line could not be any more appropriate either, as it is called the Swag.
Swag cigars come from the owner of Habana Cuba Cigar Co., Rafael Nodal. Habana Cuba Cigar Co. is also known as the company behind the Oliveros brand. Although the Swag moniker seems to fit well with the entire swagger aura behind the line, it also has a secondary meaning. Swag is a term for bags of freebies that are usually handed out at major events, and Nodal got the idea for the line after handing out some free cigars to rappers during an after party for the Grammy Awards. The rappers said they wanted something with more of a stylish edge in terms of overall presentation, and that inspired Nodal to come up with his Swag offerings.
Swag cigars come with double bands in red, gold, and white that offer plenty of added flair. As a group, they come in stylish dark wooden boxes of 20 that are highlighted by a metal plate that is stamped with Swag Cigar Lifestyle, denoting that this line is meant to go beyond the cigar itself.
