New Cigar Book Hits Shelves

If you love cigars so much that you not only smoke them, but also love reading about them and their history, there is a new book on store shelves that may interest you. The book is titled Playboy: Book of Cigars. Aaron Sigmond, founding editor of Smoke magazine , The Cigar Report, and a contributor to Playboy magazine, partnered with Nick Kolakowski to author the project. Kolakowski served as deputy editor for the Cigar Report and was a journalist for many other publications.
The book is a dedication to cigars that covers various topics. You can learn about the cigar making process, various cigar accessories such as humidors and cutters, the difference between cigars from different nations, suggested cigar/drink pairings, cigar history, and much more. If you are a visual person, you can enjoy the 163 color and 22 black and white illustrations contained in the book, many of which feature beautiful Playboy playmates. Get your mind out of the gutter, though, this book is mainly about cigars, just with a bit of a Playboy twist. After all, the magazine is not all about women, as it offers various lifestyle features, one of them being cigars.
The book comes in a hardcover and measures 9 x 12. It has 176 pages in all, and its combination of informative topics along with entertaining photography make it a great gift for a beginning smoker or a connoisseur. Playboy: Book of Cigars retails for $35.
