Texas Cigar Festival (April 16th)

Back for a second round, the Texas Cigar Festival is a one-day event crammed with 600 connoisseurs, a gigantic tent and more cigars than a man can count. Revellers will be treated to a buffet of man-sized hors d’oeuvres, excellent wine and knock-out spirits. Manufacturers pitching up at the festival include Don Pepin, Carlos Torano and J Fuego, while exhibitors including Sip Smoke Savor and Real Men Smoke Cigars will also be setting out their stalls. And you won’t be leaving the festival empty-handed, with that all-important gift bag including a stash of more than 20 cigars from the festival’s featured exhibitors.

Delaware Cigar Festival (September 17th)

Summer may be drawing to a close, but it doesn’t mean the end of the cigar season. The Delaware Fall Cigar Festival gets underway in September and samples the best seasonal smokes from around the world. It’s a chance for cigar smokers to spend an autumn afternoon in beautiful surroundings, enjoying great food, quality cigars and an atmosphere of camaraderie. There’s sure to be displays from a number of revered manufacturers, and it’s a great opportunity to sample new products from across the globe. It’s the festivals 5th anniversary and it will be held in the traditional venue at Delaware Park. It’s the only event where you can combine the perfect cigar with the perfect swing and a flutter on the horses, with golf and racing events as part of the package. Luxurious and laid-back, this festival is all about the socialising... and the cigars, of course.

Ybor City Heritage & Cigar Festival (November 2011)

The longest running festival of the lot, the Tampa Cigar Festival was renamed last year as the Ybor City Heritage & Cigar Festival. This year is its 13th anniversary and cigar enthusiasts around the world are waiting with baited breath for the announcement of the 2011 date and manufacturer line-up. Last year, thousands of people joined in the range of activities held in celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Ybor city and its cigar industry. One of the cheapest festivals around, it can be enjoyed by the entire family, with children under 12 admitted for free. Highlights of previous years have included heritage foods, antique car displays and the traditional beer and wine garden. The festival, which is big on entertainment, usually holds a live broadcast of the Cigar Dave show as well as live music throughout the day. You can also take tours of the Ybor City Museum State Park, the Ybor City Saturday Market and splash the cash at the Museum Store and 19th Street shops.

Picking Your Festival

With festivals to suit every lifestyle and every budget you can hand-pick your perfect event. Whether it’s friends, entertainment or freebies at the top of your list, there’s something for everyone from cigar-smoking bachelors to culture-loving families. So don’t hold back - light up your social life with a cigar festival.

You claim to list 2011's festivals, but omit Cigar Fest April 30th?

Way to be impartial.
