Like the perfect cigar, the smoker’s lifestyle is one focused on enjoyment and relaxation. At Puff Lifestyle, we discuss all avenues of lifestyle - great hotels that are cigar friendly, fantastic wines, cigar friendly dining, cool gadgets, lighters that actually work, hand carved cedar humidors...you get the idea. But we also cover the down to earth lifestyle interests as well: the most enjoyable reasonably priced cigars, best vacations on a budget, and the best way to stretch a buck...which has never been more important. Nothing is off topic!
It may sound surprising to a newcomer to cigar smoking but, if all other
things are equal, the lighting of a cigar can either enhance the smoking
experience … or almost destroy it. Any odor from whatever you may use to light a
cigar can permeate the cigar leaf and turn an excellent cigar into something you
might never want to touch again.
So if the implement you use to light a cigar is important just what should it
be? Basically the best tool for lighting a cigar is anything that burns with an
odorless flame. Matches or a butane powered lighter are ideal for lighting a
cigar while a petrol lighter (lighter that uses liquid fuel) … or a candle
… are never recommended.

***SUCCESS STORY:
Hey Dave,
Just wanted to drop you a line on how my personal story has been going since I started doing things "your way". I have checked every "girl strategy" out there, you know the ones, and have to say that your system is the most simple, and most effective one out there. Your system gives men the start, and allows them to put their own personal touches on it. Then, after some success, (and some failures, of course, he he) we can come back and get even more out of it. Awesome, man.
I'm 27, and have tried your way starting 2 years ago. It took me a long time to get "it", but the journey has been incredible. My friends can't believe the change in me, and I am now helping friends who I once thought were so much better than me. My relationships with women are so much more fulfilling now than they ever were when I was just trying to "get laid".
Two days after Hurricane Katrina gave South Florida a slight
brush, I had the pleasure to attend one of the many Rocky Patel events touring
the country.
The event was held at Reel Smokers in Deerfield Beach, Florida
on August 27, 2005. The power was still out, but a generator kept things going
on and off.
The most
misleading, misconstrued and misrepresented article I ever read about cigars was
published on RedNova.com, July 9, 2005. The two most bothersome things about
their "research" is that they DO NOT differentiate between drug
store cigarillos and handmade premium cigars. They lump them all
together. Then they go on to proclaim that taxes should be raised on cigars
so the underage youth of America will stop smoking cigars. WTF?!?!
Recipes will be updated on Monday's. Recipe for September 26, 2005 Phil’s Salad Prep Time: 15 minutes
I wish I could take credit for this salad, but it is a recipe that I have
added to my repertoire thanks to my departed father-in law, it is a recipe that he acquired from a restaurant that has long since gone out of business. My wife’s family always had this salad when they grilled steaks and was always served with cornbread cakes in which they would take a cornbread mix and slightly thin it in order to make griddlecakes. The cornbread cakes are a must because they are great to soak up the juices from the salad. This salad is like a beet slaw, now don’t let this discourage you, beets are by far my least favorite vegetable, but I love this salad and when you try it your going to love it too, I guarantee it!
Recipe:
2 tbsp finely chopped green onions
1 can (15oz) sliced beets (keep juice)
add equal amount of diced tomato’s to beets
add chopped Iceberg lettuce equal to tomato’s and beets combined
Dressing:
3 slices of beets
2 tbsp beet juice
1 ½ cups mayonnaise
½ tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. White vinegar
1 tsp. A-1 sauce
2 tsp. sugar
Method:
In a blender puree dressing until smooth, pour dressing over salad ingredients and toss well, refrigerate for approximately 1 hour, serve with cornbread griddlecakes and enjoy.
PS, don’t tell my wife!
